Staffordshire Lobby Week was created by Longton Exchange three years ago as a way to celebrate a traditional local dish and share it freely with the community. Each January, the centre offers free portions of Staffordshire Lobby, a hearty stew rooted in the Potteries and historically made by hardworking potters using simple, inexpensive ingredients to sustain families through long working days. Today, the week has become a quiet winter tradition, celebrating local food, shared heritage and the importance of warmth and connection during the colder months.
