A family run wonderland has opened its doors at Longton Exchange.
Visitors are in for a treat at Butterflies Wonderland where the team aim to make sure everyone leaves with something lovely. It could be a handmade craft, a handcrafted gift, or just a magical memory that will keep them coming back for more, whatever their age.
There are plenty of activities on offer including Make a Bear and Paint a Pot, and on the first floor visitors can have fun playing themed crazy golf. Craft boxes for sale include sand art, pirate craft and fairy craft. And there are special imagination zones where little ones can play.
At the heart of the bright and colourful wonderland there’s a tea room serving homemade cream teas, cakes, ploughman’s, children’s sandwich boxes and refreshments galore.
Butterflies Wonderland is run by mother of three Clare Parkin and her daughters Phoebe, 20 and 14 years-old Sophie. Phoebe and Sophie dress up as characters from Alice in Wonderland.
Clare, a mother of three, said she decided to move into Longton Exchange because she wanted to expand. ‘I’m excited to give a bigger and better experience,’ she said.
‘I just love working with children.
I like seeing the excitement on their faces when they make something and take it home with them.’
Butterflies Wonderland plans to offer children’s birthday parties in a designated party zone with a range of exciting party packages.
