School Uniform Exchange Relaunch – Supporting Longton Families for the 3rd Year!
Longton Exchange is proud to support From Longton And Proud CIC in the relaunch of the School Uniform Exchange, continuing a successful community initiative now in its third year!
For the past two years, this programme has helped countless families in Longton access quality school uniforms easily, affordably, and sustainably. As the new school year approaches, the exchange is reopening to provide local families with a simple way to donate, swap, or pick up gently used school uniforms, mostly free of charge, with some items available for a minimal cost to help cover expenses. Financial donations are also gratefully accepted to support the ongoing running of the project.
How it works:
Families bring in outgrown uniforms to donate or exchange and pick up what they need for their children’s upcoming school year. It’s a fantastic way to save money, reduce waste, and strengthen community connections.
Where & When:
The uniform exchange will take place in the Little Longton Book Exchange. Dates and times will be announced soon via Longton Exchange’s and From Longton And Proud CIC’s social media channels. Please follow both for the latest updates.
Why take part?
Save money on school uniforms
Promote recycling and sustainability
Support local families and build community spirit
Help every child start the school year prepared and confident
This ongoing project reflects the commitment of Longton Exchange to support From Longton And Proud CIC’s practical and sustainable community initiatives.
We’re excited to continue this positive impact—join us in making a difference for Longton families!
