The Little Longton Uniform Exchange: A Community Initiative for a Brighter Future.

Join us this Summer at Longton Exchange Shopping Centre as we host a school uniform swap to support the local community during these challenging financial times. We are excited to announce the launch of our pop-up school uniform shop, the Little Longton Uniform Exchange. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter future for the children of Stoke-on-Trent.

We are currently accepting donations of lightly used and clean school uniforms. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and can make a huge difference to families in need. Here is a comprehensive list of the items we accept for donations:

  • Shirts, blouses, and polo shirts
  • Jumpers, cardigans, and blazers
  • Skirts, trousers, shorts and pinafores
  • Dresses
  • Ties
  • PE kit, including school pumps
  • Coats and Jackets

Please note that items can be plain or include school badges and logos. Your contribution not only supports local families and children but also promotes sustainable practices by extending the lifespan of school uniforms and reducing waste.

If you would like to donate, we have designated drop-off locations conveniently located at the Centre Management Office, Kizzy B’s, and The Salvation Army. Your donation will be collected and prepared for redistribution.

The Little Longton Uniform Exchange will be open on the following dates:

  • 14th – 18th of August 2023
  • 21st – 25th of August 2023

We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their financial circumstances. Therefore, all Little Longton Uniform Exchange uniforms will be available for free collection. However, we kindly ask that when you collect your school uniform, you consider donating to our charity of the year partner, The Stoke Air Ambulance.

If you have any further questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact the Centre Management office at +44 1782 593278.
