Top 5 AW 21 trends that you’ll be wearing before Christmas!

Heavy-duty boots

These boots are made for walking – or stomping. The boot of the season is aptly named stomper, and the chunkier the better. Spotted on the runways from Prada to Bottega Veneta, it’s the perfect accessory for all your AW looks – we’re not just talking jeans.

Pair your Stompers with a floral midi dress and biker jacket for the perfect catwalk-worthy look.

Oversized tailoring

There’s been much talk this month of “back to the office” and what that means for our wardrobes. If you’re looking to smarten up, but are reluctant to give up the comfort that the past 18 months have afforded us, allow the slouchy blazer to ease you back in gently. Throw it over pleated trousers and a silk shirt, or jeans and a T-shirt for a pulled-together look.

No longer the reserve of party season, sparkle is back. It’s time to shine, in high-glam cocktail dresses by night and sequins with knitwear for daytime – or simply the sparkliest accessories you can find.

Knitted dresses

Autumn thoughts turn to cosy knitwear and wrapping up in warm woollens. A long-sleeved knitted dress is the perfect wardrobe staple. From knee-length and chunky to ankle-skimming fine-knit styles, they’re bound to be the highlights of the season.

Block colours

Think head-to-toe bursts of colour in the more-is-more school of dressing. At Prada, co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons scattered colour throughout the collection, such as a drop-shoulder, puff-sleeve coat in vibrant yellow. The high street has been quick to catch on with eye-popping colours on the rails – a stark contrast to our usual autumnal hues!
