Welcome to the Calm Corner

At Longton Exchange, we care about your well-being. We understand that life can be overwhelming, so we’ve created this space to help you find peace, balance, and calm in the midst of it all. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stressed, or just need a moment to breathe, the Calm Corner is here to support you.

Mindfulness Tips for Everyday Peace

Here are a few simple mindfulness techniques that can help you stay grounded and manage feelings of anxiety:

  • Breathe Deeply
Take a moment to focus on your breath. Inhale deeply through your nose for four seconds, hold for four, and exhale slowly through your mouth for four. Repeat this cycle until you feel centred.
  • Ground Yourself with Your Senses
Pause and engage your senses. What do you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel around you? This practice of sensory grounding can help bring you back to the present moment.
  • Take a Gratitude Break
Could you reflect on three things you’re grateful for today? Shifting your focus to gratitude can instantly uplift your mood and reduce stress.
  • Body Scan
Starting from the top of your head, slowly scan your body, noticing areas of tension or discomfort. As you focus on each part, relax and release the tension you’re holding.

Guided Meditations

We’ve curated a selection of calming guided meditations to help you find moments of peace whenever you need them:
